Profile of Donald J. Arnold
Donald J. Arnold received his J.D. degree from Western State College of Law, where he received an American Jurisprudence award in Legal Writing. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1998, and opened a solo practice in Los Angeles that year, focusing on immigration law and representing applicants in workers' compensation claims. Mr. Arnold was recognized for his pro bono work and initiation of an ESL program with GUIA, a non-profit organization.
He subsequently worked as an associate for eleven years at a defense firm and as the managing attorney for a statewide applicant attorney firm for three years. Mr. Arnold then returned to solo practice and later served as a Deputy Labor Commissioner for the State of California.
Mr. Arnold has extensive experience in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense but in particular in entertainment claims, general/special employment relationships, and cross-examination of doctors. He takes pride in meticulous case preparation and aggressive defense strategies on all of his cases.
